We live in Napa Valley but Bordeaux has been our second home for over twenty years. You could say the two wine regions are like children, we love both deeply, but often for different reasons.

In Napa Valley, there is a passion for wine, great wines. It is this passion and openness to new ideas that has made Napa Valley one of the greatest wine regions in the world.

In Bordeaux, there is a history so old it is awe-inspiring. To meet families and friends who are fifth generation wine makers working in 16th century Chateau is hard to imagine as an American. In Bordeaux, you are born in wine.

The two regions grow similar varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot, but we do not make the same wines. Yet in each region, you can find exceptional wines. Bordeaux is large, humid and expansive, bordered by rivers and oceans. Napa Valley is small, dry, and confined within two mountain ranges. Both have great terroir. Both have great wine-makers. I hope you will let us share our love of these two wine regions with you.
